SOFTWARE FOR THE CVM FAMILY

EASYCOMM
Welcome to EASYCOMM, the basic software for users of CVM power meters. This software is designed to run under Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and NT environment. EASYCOMM delivers many features to enable an easy communication of a complete NMI’s peripheral network directed to the energetic management of a power system.

This software permits to record, into daily or monthly files, instantaneous values of parameters measured by the power meters, setting diverse recording periods from 1–60 minutes. The generated file is ASCII format, therefore, this can be opened by EXCEL or any other spread application.

Parameters are real-time visualized in comprehensible screens that can also be printed-out.

Set-up procedure of peripherals is really easy and intuitive; with the possibility of modify from the own PC almost all configurable parameters, such as communications, the yearly calendar that indicates the billing periods, relay outputs, analog outputs, etc.

All enabled ports in the PC can be used for communication actions, with a maximum of 32 units per port at a maximum distance of 4,000', according to RS-485 RTU communication features. To quickly locate and identify each peripheral, a description for each unit to be permanently shown in screen can be also defined.

Other functions offered by the software is the communication test to detect possible problems in the communication, the peripheral simulation, the automatic reading test, etc.

CIRNET FOR WINDOWS
CIRNET for WINDOWS is a very powerful SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) software package for measuring and control systems as sophisticated as the user longs for. The program is totally open and user-configurable, and offers all the advantages and properties owned by the Windows environment, such as the MDI windows (Multiple Document Interface) for a better process visualization.

CIR-VISION
CIR-VISION allows for graphic and numerical representation of the files. The user is able to analyze data captured by the AR.4, CVM-M and the CPL clamp devices.

Features:

  • Real Windows application
  • Graphic representation of all captured parameters
  • Harmonic analysis (wave form, THD)
  • Calculation of true RMS values of voltage and current
  • Representation in numerical tables
  • Data export to other program (Excel, Lotus, etc.)
  • Print-out with headlines, coloured, etc.
  • Numerical display of all the electrical parameters measured by the AR.4 (fig. 1)
  • Display of the time evolution of any of the measured parameters attached in table 1 (fig. 2)
  • Display of voltage and current wave forms (fig. 3)
  • Display and calculation of the harmonics spectrum of the voltage and current wave forms It calculates up to the 15 th harmonic
  • Possibility to export data to other softwares (Excel, Lotus, etc.)

CIR-TARIF
Analysis of electrical tariffs.

Allows handing the data stored in the AR.4 and the CVM-M devices, besides the CIRNET data bases. Different electrical tariffs could be simulated from this data in order to determine the most suitable one for each installation and comparisons with the utility energy bill could be carried out.

The program performs graphics of the time evolution of the voltage and the active and reactive power, and permits the user to analyze the utility billing periods.

FEATURES:

  • Display of the time evolution of the three phase voltage
  • Display of the time evolution of the three phase reactive energy power
  • Display of the time evolution of the three phase active energy power
  • The simulation of any electric tariff (except for seasonal ones)
  • Steps to follow are these listed below.

The program permits:
  • Setting of power demand meters
  • Setting of time ranges that fix the billing periods for each region (fig. 4) together with the applicable surcharge
  • Setting the cost of different electric tariffs
