INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL FEATURES

ROYAL series analyzers introduce a new family of multifunctional digital instrumentation delivering the highest features. Possibility of measuring the main electrical parameters in a power system (V a.c., A a.c., Hz, W, var, VA, PF, “d”, etc.)

• Front push-button for a display of the different parameters measured
• Three front push-buttons for the complete set-up process. Sealable front cover over the set buttons
• A compact design permits an easy and quick installation.

These are based on a microprocessor that takes samples from the measuring signals, and provides true r.m.s measurements after a calculation process, which is nowadays essential for such installations with a great quantity of industrial equipment provoking distortion in the electrical network such as d.c. drives, rectifier units, electronic reactors, etc., in order to correctly measure those distorted waves without loosing accuracy.

Royal has passed the most sever ambient conditions, electric conductive noise, electromagnetic compatibility standards and vibration test in order to have mark, giving a high level of quality and reliability.

The ROYAL series provides the simultaneously measurements of the following parameters:

• Measurements in 4 quadrants
• True RMS measurements
• Memorization of peak and valley values for all the measurements
• Configuration of any .../5 A current transformer
• Configuration of any .../110 V voltage transformer
• 2 alarm relays with the following options:
- Trip due to maximum or minimum condition
- Trip delay user - configurable between 1 and 9999 s
- Trip delay user - configurable between 1 to 9999 points
- Optional trip latch
- Optional operation mode with NO or NC relays (failure safety)
- All the set parameters can be protected against any accidental modification
- These can be asociated to any paramenter measured by the instrument
