DC series of digital instruments have been designed for the indication of process signals or for the measurement of A.C. / D.C. voltages and currents (according to the type):

• 96 P: 0...20 mA, 0...10 V
• 96 DC: V, A (D.C.)
• 96 AC: V, A (A.C.)

Analogue-digital conversion is carried out by means of the double-ramp system, which reduces deviations due to temperature and the effect of interferences over the incoming signal.

The measuring signal is filtered, protected and adapted to the analogue-digital converter at the input circuit.
