ACTIVE ENERGY ELECTRONIC METERS

The MDB Series of energy meters are directly connected to the mains with built-in current transformers in the unit (internal toroidal type transformer). Their function is measuring the electrical energy consumed (up to 90 A).

The instrument case has been designed for simultaneously obtaining both the supply voltage and the voltage measuring circuit through the pointed screws located in the front.

A pulse output allows a remote transmission of the kWh consumption.

Single-phase 2-wire, 120 or 240 V energy meter (mechanical display) The counter is increased each 100 Wh (0,1 kWh). When the meter is powered on, a LED indicating the presence of energy lights up ("Power pulses").

Single-phase 2-wire 120 or 240 V energy meter (digital display) The counter is increased each 10 Wh (0,01 kWh). When the meter is powered on, the eight digits are lit up. An E2-PROM type internal memory allows to hold in memory the reading of the energy meter when a power lack occurs.

CONNECTION MODE
MK 63 energy meters are directly connected to the main since built-in current transformer is already provided in the unit (internal toroidal type transformer). To connect it just pass the two main wires through the holes in the meter, with no need to cut any of them.
